Installation Guide
Download the installer
Click the download button above to get the .dmg file. Your browser may ask for confirmation.
Open the DMG file
Double-click the downloaded Swiftalk.dmg file to mount the disk image.
Drag to Applications
Drag the Swiftalk app icon to the Applications folder shortcut in the window.
Launch Swiftalk
Open Swiftalk from your Applications folder. On first launch, macOS may ask you to confirm opening an app from the internet.
Grant microphone access
When prompted, click "Allow" to grant Swiftalk access to your microphone. You can also enable this in System Settings > Privacy & Security > Microphone.
Set up your hotkey
Choose a system-wide hotkey to activate voice dictation. The default is Option + Space.
Secure & Private
Swiftalk uses secure cloud AI for best-in-class transcription accuracy. Your audio is encrypted in transit and never stored permanently. Pro users can enable offline mode for complete local privacy when needed.
